What you get

Vertical tabs in the side panel

Readable titles and favicons. Switch, close, pin, drag to reorder.

Compact & icon-only modes

Three density modes. The direct answer to "vertical tabs waste my width".

Spaces

Split tabs into Work, Personal, Research. Switch from sidebar or keyboard.

Command bar

Cmd/Ctrl+K. Fuzzy search tabs, with optional @bookmark/@history/@recent scopes.

Snapshots

Save the current window state, restore later. No more "I lost all my tabs".

Optional Connect AI

Bring your own provider key for tab-management commands. No provider is contacted until you send a request.

Honest about what Chrome lets us do

ArchTabs lives in Chrome's native side panel. Chrome's top tab bar stays — extensions cannot hide it. Chrome also controls the minimum side-panel width, so we cannot make the panel narrower than Chrome allows. Compact and icon-only modes are how we fit more tabs into the width Chrome gives us.

Privacy

No website host permissions. No content scripts. No account. Spaces, snapshots, and settings stay on your device. Anonymous usage events are sent to Google Analytics without tab URLs, titles, or page contents. Optional Connect AI sends tab-management context only to the provider you choose.
